Somerford has proven to be the best facility, with some standout strengths that truly make a difference. While no facility is without its challenges, what stands out about Somerford is the staff’s commitment to doing their best and their willingness to go the extra mile for residents. The team is dedicated, compassionate, and capable. Knowing that my mom is in their care gives me peace of mind that I didn’t have in the beginning. "My mother was at Somerford House a little over 9 months before passing. My family said it was the best decision ever made on behalf of my mother. The staff was attentive, professional and caring. I visited every day and I witnessed many lovely moments, from housekeeping, dining, caregivers, administrators, social, transportation, maintenance and nurses. They are definitely a team. My mother had daily visits from the staff to chat and check in. They made a point to know my mother needs, not only medical, but they know her as a person. The staff made my mother feel like a million bucks and they treated her with kindness and respect.
